This is the program disclosure for the text messages a patient receives when their clinic uses Better Clinic Booking's booking reminders, cancellation-waitlist, or patient-recall features.
- Program name
- Better Clinic Booking patient messaging, sent on behalf of the patient's own clinic
- Message frequency
- Varies by clinic activity — typically 1–4 messages a month per patient (appointment reminders, one cancellation-opening offer when a slot frees up, or a recall message if the patient has lapsed)
- How to stop
- Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages instantly. Reply HELP for help.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply, per the patient's own mobile plan
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
Who sends these messages
Messages are sent on behalf of the patient's own clinic, to the mobile number the patient gave that clinic. We only text a patient who has already given their clinic a mobile number and has not opted out. We never buy, rent, or otherwise acquire phone numbers from any other source, and every number we text comes from the clinic's own patient records.
What these messages are for
- Confirming or reminding a patient of an upcoming appointment.
- Offering a cancellation opening to a patient waiting for an earlier slot.
- Reaching a lapsed patient to ask if they'd like to book a re-check, based on their own visit history with that clinic.
These messages never include a price, a discount, or advertising content, and they are never sent under any name other than the patient's own clinic.
Opting out
Reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or any similar plain-English request to any message and we treat it as a request to stop, honored immediately. A patient who wants back in can ask their clinic directly.
Carrier disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Delivery is not guaranteed — the carriers involved are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This program is not affiliated with or endorsed by any mobile carrier.
